Cochin, Kerala – Hotel Renai Cochin, now in its 26th year, has officially ushered in the holiday season with the launch of its Christmas and New Year celebrations for 2024. In an effort to spread warmth, joy, and festive cheer, the hotel hosted a special Cake Reveal Ceremony to introduce its exclusive offerings for this year’s festivities. The event featured the unveiling of their newly introduced Vintage Premium Plum Cake, a carefully crafted creation designed to offer a nostalgic yet luxurious taste, made with the finest ingredients. Rev. Fr. Thomas Valookaran, the Vicar of St. Martin Church, PVTM, had the honour of unveiling the cake. The event was attended by key dignitaries including Clemens Saxauer, Lisa Claesson, Shri Achuthan Menon (Sr. Vice President, Renai Hospitality), Mr. Jacob Ghosh (Sr. General Manager), Mr. Denny Davis (Executive Chef), and Mr. John Samuel (Sr. Business Development Manager, The Renai Cochin). This year, Renai Cochin is offering traditional plum cakes in two delightful varieties:

  • Rich Plum Cakes are available in 500g and 850g sizes. They are made with high-quality ingredients and perfectly balanced with fruits and spices.

  • Vintage Premium Plum Cake (850g in TIN), a more refined version featuring luxurious ingredients and packaging for a sophisticated, festive touch.

In addition, Special Cream Cakes are also available in a variety of flavours, to add a sweet twist to the celebrations.

Pre-bookings for these festive treats have already started, and customers are encouraged to place their orders to ensure they don’t miss out on these festive delights.

In keeping with its commitment to spreading happiness, Hotel Renai Cochin has launched a heartwarming initiative to share the joy of the season. The hotel will be distributing these delicious cakes among prestigious clients, stakeholders, well-wishers, and especially children and elderly citizens residing in care homes. The hotel’s gesture is a small but meaningful way to brighten the holiday season for those who might not be able to celebrate with their families.
